Woman Allegedly Stabbed At Colonie Salon During Robbery

Terrible news to report out of Colonie, NY today involving a robbery and stabbing as well.

According to News10.com,   there was a horrifying incident right in Colonie on Sand Creek Road.   According to the article someone attempted to rob the "Recyled Salon"  and a "32 year old female employee suffered severe injuries to her neck".  She was reported to be in a medically induced coma at Albany Medical Center.

According to the reports she was the only one there at the time and was allegedly stabbed in broad daylight.

I'm passing the word herts that if you were in that area between Sand Creek and Russell Road and saw anything that you would immediately call 783-2744.

UPDATE

I also have read via the TimesUnion.com tonite that the worker, 32 YEAR OLD Jacquelyn Porreca apparently died, but I can't confirm that of course.  What a tragedy, and right in the Capital Region.  Our sincere condolences go out to her family.
