I think everyone worries about this kind of thing every now and then. I think with guys it's more economical, "Will she leave me if I lose my job?" with women it's usually her looks she worries about. The fact of the matter is, if you love someone and they love you, you probably do not have to worry.  However, that doesn't mean you should test them either!

So, what do you think the chance are that he would leave if you gained a "significant" amount of weight?

It turns out in a recent survey of American men the answer is 50%. Wow, I have to admit that is a bit higher than I thought it would be. So you have a 50/50 shot at your man being ok with the extra weight, well GOOD for that 50% that would stay true!

This whole thing got me thinking though how much weight is "significant" 20lbs? 50lbs? 100lbs.? What do you think?

This also got me wondering from a female perspective, what do you think is your "safe zone" where do you think it's OK for him to start getting concerned about your weight gain? So I thought we should take a new poll.
