Will He Ever Divorce His Wife? – Daily Dilemma

Here is Today's Daily Dilemma:

Several years ago I had an affair with a married man. It lasted several months, but ended when he returned to his wife. Over a year ago he finally left his wife and he and I began dating this past May (a year after he and she separated). 4 months later i am feeling very uneasy as he still has not made any attempt to divorce her. He tells me he loves me, but his actions do not necessarily match his words. I have told him several times if he wanted a divorce he would have filed by now. He cannot give me a good reason as to why he hasn't filed yet although I know money is tight right now. But I feel that if you want something you find a way. We also do not spend a lot of time together and my friends tell me he is disrespectful to me. I get the feeling that he only tells me what he thinks I want to hear not the absolute truth and my gut tells me he isn't over his wife. Am I holding on to a lost cause?
