I've heard people say there's nothing to do in the Capital Region during the week. Lies! All lies!

People definitely don't give Albany and the surrounding area the credit it deserves when it comes to fun stuff to do. It really never stops with something to do every and any night of the week. Need examples?

Wednesdays at Juniors off Madision Avenue in Albany, they hold a game night. It kicks off at 8pm and you can even get an 8-cut pizza for just $7!

Maybe you enjoy karaoke? Bourbon Street Bar & Grill in Colonie has theirs on Tuesday nights, while The Flightline in Glenville and the Rusty Nail in Clifton Park hold their karaoke nights Wednesdays & Fridays (just to name a couple.)

Multiple bars and restaurants host trivia nights including Browns Brewing in Troy and Graneys in Albany on Monday nights, McGearys in Albany and Katie O'Byrnes in Schenectady on Tuesdays with Ships Pub on Wednesdays!

Whether it's spring, summer, fall or winter there are always sporting events going on locally to take advantage of from teams like the Tri City Valley Cats, Adirondack Thunder, Albany Devils and even the Siena Saints!

Still need more ideas? Have a mini-golf off with some friends, bowling nights, hit a show at the Funny Bone or Comedy Works comedy clubs, hit a theater or drive in, maybe you didn't even realize your favorite new band is playing at Upstate Concert Hall (or one of the other many venues in the area!)
