Proving once again that anything can be a thing, today is National Fried Chicken Day. One of life's greatest comfort foods for sure and an opportunity to discuss the best fried chicken you've ever had in the Capital Region!  Was it extra crispy or regular? White meat or dark?  Let's debate this

I don't consider myself an aficionado of fried chicken, but I've had my fair share and I know what I like. Extra crispy, hot out the fryer and I prefer white meat over dark.  If I had to rank the fried chicken I've had in the Capital Region, I'd have to say that the pieces served up hot and fresh at the Price Chopper/Market 32 food court is right up there with any I've ever tasted.  In my opinion, it's better than KFC, Popeye's or even the famed Hattie's Chicken Shack.  Chic Fil A's closest location to Albany is about an hour away in Springfield, MA, and while that's a darn good fried chicken, I can't put it over Price Chopper/Market 32!
