It’s hard to believe that the horrific day happened 12 years ago, September 11, 2001, also referred to as 9/11.

As with many of you, I remember it all too well. It’s probably one of the saddest days in history in our lifetime. It was a major terrorist attack on the United States Of America.

That morning, I was out running errands when I heard the news bulletins about a plane hitting the first tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. I thought that “wow, that doesn’t sound good.” Little did I know (or did anyone know) that was just the beginning. I stopped doing what I was doing so I could get in front of a television to see what was happening.

The events that followed were hard to be believed. More planes crashing into the other tower of the WTC, The Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and the field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

I think that I can speak for most of us when I say that most of us were in some sort of a funk, and really didn’t know what to do. I also think that for most of us, that we still don’t feel the same as we did on that very dark day.

In paying tribute to all of the people that died and all the people that responded that day our prayers are still with you all. I thought I would include a link for the first song that came to mind about 9/11 –  ‘Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning’ by Alan Jackson.

Do you remember what were you doing when the world stopped turning?
