Countryfest headliner Dierks Bentley could not have been more proud of the prize he got to bring on-stage with him at a show in Chicago this week. One might even say his "cup" was spilling over with excitement.

weighs in at 34.5 lbs. But to a winning team it feels "light as a feather."

Being able to hoist the cup overhead is actually more of an honor than you might think. A longstanding tradition is in place that no one should touch the Cup until a team has won it, making it all the more thrilling once a team wins and has the privilege of lifting the gleaming silver trophy up. The Stanley Cup is making its way around Chicago now after the Blackhawks won it this season.

Another tradition is that after winning, each teammate gets a chance to bring the Cup home with them, and apparently one of the teammates is buddies with Dierks.

We may not have a major sports trophy to offer Dierks to bring up on stage at Countryfest 2015 in a few weeks, but we like to think that July 11 will be his new "best night" of his life.
