We  all know that Jerry Seinfeld made a lot of money from his sitcom back in the day.  But  I never realized just how he accrued on that show and what's in store for him in the future! If you're a fan, you'll love this

I stumbled upon this on Fortune.com ( I read that a lot - hey, I can dream, can't I?).  Anyway they did this mathematical analysis taken from show scripts and tried to figure out who deserved the highest salary from that show in comparison to how much they were used in the series.  They looked at Jerry, of course, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Drefus and Michael Richards and here's what they found out.

The best guestimate is that Jerry, by the last season was making $13,000 for every line of dialog that came out of his cake hole.  Actually Julia (Elaine on the show) tied him although not in total amount received, because Jerry was paid $1 million per episode and she $600,000.

Now you also have to remember that he has made much, much more money from syndication - to the tune of $400,000,000. But we're still not done.  According to Variety.com,  digital video streamer Hulu has just signed off on a deal for Seinfeld reruns that will cost them $160,000,000, and Jerry gets a piece of THAT (so does Larry David- co-creator of the series.

Ain't that something.  Not bad for a show about nothing!
