What Is the Top Food In NY? The Answer May Surprise You
Google Trends recently determined the top food in each state based on Google searches. What is the most searched food in New York?

Hummus! I thought for sure it would be pizza, bagels, hot dogs, or something that screams New York. But hummus was the winner. And if this seems out of whack, other nearby states have top foods you would expect. For example:
- Maine - Lobster (and pie)
- Rhode Island - Clams
- Delaware - Crab Cakes
- New Jersey - Bagels
Maybe our top food search is not in line with the foods New York is traditionally associated with. But, we are searching for something healthy. Happy eating!
