This weekend the only racing for NASCAR's three national touring series is at Darlington for the Camping World Truck Series.  Both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series drivers have an open week.  So what do the drivers do with a weekend off?Even with a weekend off, some drivers will still find a way to race, be around a race, help family members race, or prepare to race.  Some do chill out, but it's amazing how many drivers want to be around racing when they have the chance to get away from racing.  For example, Kasey Kahne and Travis Kvapil will both run in the aforementioned NASCAR Camping World  Truck Series race at Darlington.  Kurt Busch will at the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida trying his hand at some professional drag racing.  Dave Blaney is going to watch his son race in a Super Late Model race in South Carolina.  A.J. Almendinger will be heading to a karting event also in South Carolina.  Juan Pablo Montoya is heading back to his home country of Colombia.  Marcos Ambrose has started his own late model team and he will be with them for their first race in North Carolina.

So you might say these drivers want to be around work when they have a chance to get away from work.  Just like you and me, right?  When we have a week off from work, what do we do?  Go right back for more work?  Absolutely.  Except it's more likely to be around the house.
