What ACM Award Winner Surprised You? – Jake Thomas Shares His Thoughts

Last night's ACM Awards show was full of incredible performances. They would have been better if the show had the audio dialed in better. Am I the only that though the audio as a whole sounded bad?The one that made me scratch my head was Jana Kramer winning new female vocalist of the year. Don't get me wrong, she does have a great voice but I just thought that Kacey Musgraves should have won the award. Her debut CD "Same Trailer Different Park" ius selling like hot cakes and critically she is getting rave reviews. The fact that she really launched late in the year could have cost her the award. It almost looked like a couples thing though to me with Brantley Gilbert winning new male vocalist and his fiance Jana Kramer winning the female award. I'm sure one of the ACM Awards last night caught you off guard, let us know what it was and why.
