WGNA Listeners Raised $196,906.84 For St. Jude Kids

All day Wednesday and Thursday, WGNA hosted the Country Cares For St. Jude Kids Radiothon, and as always, you (our listeners) came through. Do you know why?

It’s because we have the greatest listeners in the world. I think a lot of people may have bad their doubts about how much money we could raise, because of so many people barely getting by and the current shape of the economy, but you did it.

I had the pleasure of helping out answering phones, along with all of our great volunteers. Last year’s total was $191,846 dollars, and we topped that. Our final total this year is $196,906.84. Thanks to you, this helps us continue St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with their mission to end childhood cancers.
