WGNA Countryfest Alumni, Jason Michael Carroll’s Birthday On June 13 [VIDEO]

GNA’s Countryfest 2012 is coming up very soon. I hope that you have your tickets. It’s July 7, 2012 at The Times Union Center, and one of my favorite artists that’s played at a few Countryfests in the past is Jason Michael Carroll. Jason’s birth date is June 13, 1978. He was born in Houston, Texas.

Jason was brought up in a religious household, in Youngsville, North Carolina. His dad was a Christian minister. His mother encouraged Jason to participate in a local singing competition.

When he was finally discovered for his great talent, and signing with a booking agency, he was signed to record with Arista Nashville. His very first album called ‘Waitin’ On The Country’ was release in 2007, and debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts. In Honor of Jason Michael Carroll’s birthday, I thought that I would share with you his first big, and very powerful hit, 'Alyssa Lies'.
