WGNA and The Hillbilly Horns Were Rockin’ on the River

Wednesday evening, WGNA was part of Troy's weekly free concert series called "Rockin' On the River," as we brought local favorites The Hillbilly Horns to the stage, and as always did a fantastic job playing the hits and motivating the crowd. This is one of the things I mentioned in my blog about WGNA giving you something to do. It's always great to hear and see these guys play. Before the "Horns" we welcomed another local band called The Nellies. As their website states: "Energetic rootsy, alt-country, Americana band in the New York State Capital Region." They also did a great job as they warmed up the crowd, with a very traditional country sound.

Besides the both bands Rockin' The River, there was plenty of food and drink, and it was a party for all ages, from the very young to the young at heart as you can see with the gallery. Everyone was having a great time.
