WGNA And The 2013 St. Jude Give Thanks Walk [Photo]

It all started early on Saturday morning, November 23. Jeff Levack, Kevin Richards, Richie Phillips, Bethany, myself and quite a few volunteers all met at Crossgates Mall. It was to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

In August, we do the St. Jude Cares For Kids Radiothon on GNA, and this was the St. Jude Give Thanks Walk 2013. We were joined by hundreds of people participating in the walk. We need to give a big thank you to everyone that was there, because near the end of the walk, there was at least $4,000 raised, and there were still people making donations. As always, the GNA listeners came through to help put an end to childhood cancer.
