On Saturday morning, there will be a gathering of a bunch of people in Schenectady’s Central Park, to all help raise money for the Spina Bifida Association Of Northeastern New York.

I’ll be there as the emcee / dj (in the Central Park Pavilion) for the 2014 ‘Walk-N-Roll’, presented by the Gazette Newspaper.  This will be the fourth annual event, and every year it seems like there are more and more people participating. GNA’s Kevin Richards interviewed Michelle Miller, who is one of the people that help to let everyone know about this very special and fun event.

A quote from the SBANENY website says that the 'Walk-N-Roll' “is a family-friendly, 3 mile “walk event” being held to raise awareness of Spina Bifida and to celebrate the accomplishments of the over 166,000 Americans living with it”. We do have people of all ages joining in this fun event. Their goal is to raise $35,000 dollars, and with all of our help, I believe this will be achieved. For more information about how you can join us, just visit the website.

Registration kicks off at 8:30 a.m.. Around 11:30 a.m. there’ll be a family and friends picnic to wrap everything up. We might even have something to give away, too.
