Weekend Gathering Turns Into Brawl In Voorheesville

In the village of Voorheesville, things are generally quiet, but on Sunday, that all changed, at least in one particular place.

There were dozens of people that had gotten together at the Voorheesville Volunteer Fire Department, when some of the people got involved in a brawl.

In the story from News 10 ABC, Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple reported that there were somewhere around 30 people that were involved. It was also reported that many of the involved were drinking and the refused to leave.

Several other Albany area police agencies were called in to assist. At least one person went to the hospital. There’s no information about whether anyone was charge
