Weed Killer In Your Favorite Ice Cream

I just found out that some of my favorite ice cream flavors contain traces of a weed killer but is it bad that I'm still going to eat it? A bunch of Ben & Jerry's flavors were tested by the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) and it was found that they tested positive for glyphosate which is a main ingredient in Roundup weed killer. OCA is calling for Ben & Jerry's to eliminate the traces of pesticide and only use organic products.

Ben & Jerry's responded by saying that all of their flavors are safe to eat and the amount that was found in the samples was so small that a person would have to consume 145,000 eight ounce servings each day to even come close to the amount that the EPA limits.

The flavors that were tested are all that I enjoy. They included Vanilla (two samples), The Tonight Dough, Half Baked, Peanut Butter Cookie, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Americone Dream, Peanut Butter Cup, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and my all time favorite, Phish Food. But is it bad that I won't stop eating it a pint at a time? Will you?
