It's January, and it is cold outside, but I don't have to tell you that. What I should tell you is that there is a wind chill advisory in effect until 9 a.m. Monday 1/24.

Bundle Up

Wind chill temperatures will be dropping to between 10-25 degrees below zero, creating very dangerous situations. The brutal cold will be with us on Monday as well.

Stay inside to be safe. If you need to go outside, make sure you're bundled up and have your skin covered up. With these extremely cold temperatures and you're skin isn't covered up, you may end up with frostbite in less than 15 minutes. this could lead to loss of fingertips, ears and nose if they're exposed.

Remember, do not keep pets outdoors. When they need to go out, make sure it's only for a short period of time.

By the way, we may be in for another major storm mid week. We'll keep you posted on Country 107.7 WGNA-F.M.
