We Loved Saving Mr. Banks Even Though The Critics Didn’t! What Say You? [VIDEO]

You know what they say about opinions.  Opinions are like "you know whats" cuz everybody has one.  Movie critics fit that category.  Sometimes they are right on the money and sometimes you wonder what kind of medication they are on. Here's an exampleDorrie dragged me kicking and screaming to the movies again.  (I'm not a willing participant in this form of entertainment sometimes - I get antsy).  And the review I read for this movie didn't make it any easier for me.

We saw Saving Mr. Banks, with Tom Hanks as Walt Disney and Emma Thompson as the belligerent author of Mary Poppins who vehemently resists signing over the rights to her prized work.  Here's the trailor

The reviews that I read said the performances were awesome but the movies was too sentimental and basically used to pay tribute to the Disney Corporation.  I totally disagree. We thought it was fascinating to discover the backstory to getting this picture made.  GO SEE IT!!!!

Don't you hate when critics pan something and you end up loving it? Now - what movie did YOU see that you loved and the critics hated?  Or vice versa if you wish.  Would love to know!
