Way Back Wednesday – George Strait, Dan Seals

Every Wednesday on WGNA's Country Cafe (Noon-1pm) we feature a musical memory with 'Way Back Wednesday.'

This week we honor George Strait.  As the 'King' prepares to play his final show in the Northeast at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. on Saturday, we take a moment to remember one of his 60 Number One hits. 'Carried Away' hit the top of the charts in 1996.

This week's WGNA.com 'Way Back Wednesday' feature is a classic Dan Seals song from 1986. Hot off the CMA Single of the Year 'Bop,' Seals shifts gears to deliver a compelling story song with a life lesson in 'Everything That Glitters Is Not Gold.'
