Today we remember the 'summer' hit of 1993. At the time, Alan Jackson was on his way to becoming an 'A' list country star with his Seventh Number One song that would go on to win the CMA Single of the Year Award. Where were you when you first heard 'Chattahoochee?'

This week's WGNA.com 'Way Back Wednesday' feature is a classic song from Alabama. 'Dixieland Delight' was the 'summer' hit of 1983! Alabama's Ninth Number One song came just a few singles after the hits 'Love In The First Degree' and 'Mountain Music.' At the time, Alabama was on top of the world winning the 1982, 1983 and 1984 CMA Entertainer of the Year Award.
