It’s hard to believe that a couple of months ago we had so much rain, that we couldn’t keep up with mowing the lawn. Now that it’s been awhile since we’ve had rain, the water restrictions have begun.

Watering Restrictions
loading...

In a story that I read in the Times Union, residents of Clifton Park have their watering restrictions increased. You can only water your lawn between 7:00 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on even numbered days, if the resident’s street address ends in an even number. It’s the same time slots on odd numbered days, if the resident’s street address ends in an odd number. If the residents violate the restrictions, they may end up getting a fine.

There are no restrictions if residents want to stand outside and use a hose to water their lawns. Our weather isn’t really expected to change anytime soon. Are there any watering restrictions where you are?
