Watch This Felon Try to Get His Sentenced Reduced by Singing Adele to the Judge [Video]

Adele is pretty popular, but is she a big enough deal to get criminals out of jail time?  Nope.

A 21-year-old in Michigan recently got convicted for unlawful imprisonment and gun charges, and tried to get his sentenced reduced last week by writing new lyrics to "Hello" by Adele about how sorry he is.

But it looks like it definitely didn't work, because he's now serving between three-and-a-half and 17 years in prison.
