Wack, or as his friends up north call him "Wacker" is a great guy. Wack Nolan puts on a huge fundraiser with his friends each year called "Wacks Ride For Wishes".

All the proceeds benefit the Northeast New York Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Tomorrow is the day. It all starts at about 10am at the Full Moon on Glen Lake Road in Queensbury with a big motorcycle poker run. So if you ride, just be at the moon by 10am and they'll register you right on the spot. The bikers take a beautiful run through Warren and Washington Counties and wrap it up at the Adirondack Bar and Grill on the corner of Ridge Road and Route 149 in Queensbury. Once the bikers roll in at about 3:30`pm there is plenty to eat and drink. 50/50 raffles throughout the afternoon , silent autction items from many area businesses to bid on and a live on stage auction of awesome items that always get the crowds fired up and breaking out the wallets for the kids and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. If you don't ride, just come to the Adirondack Bar and Grill for the fun at 3:30pm and help us out. There will be live music from Street Talk too, a great band. I grew up with Wack's kids in Fort Ann, and will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the event and would love to see some great WGNA listeners helping us out up north tomorrow. Last year we raised over $30,000 and we want to do it again this year. I hope I see you up there.
