Upstate NY Woman Missing After Going Overboard On Cruise Ship

The US Coast Guard has announced the woman missing from a Carnival Cruise ship in the Bahamas is Rina Patel from Interlaken.

Rina, who was travelling with family, was seen falling from the 11th deck of the Carnival Ecstasy early Wednesday morning, according to nyup.com.

According to a story from WCSC in Charleston, South Carolina, where the ship is due to return, there is hope that Rina could still be alive.

I can't imagine how distraught Rina's family must be going through this ordeal. Let's hope for a happy ending and the Coast Guard finds Rina safe!
