As of 10:40am, National Grid is reporting that Warren and Saratoga Counties are still seeing large numbers of people without power.  In Warren County, 17,490 houses are without power, in Saratoga County 21,000 homes are in the dark with Schenectady (24,000) and Albany (22,000) counties still in the dark too. In the aftermath of Tropical Storm Irene, we also see several road closures.

To help you better prepare your travel plans today, YNN has just released the updated road closure list for 10:40am August 29, 2011.  At the time of this post, WGNA’s Lou Roberts just informed us that the Green Island Bridge has now been closed.
