UPDATE: Zebra Missing in Catskills Found Dead

Sad news to report today: the Zebra that went missing in Palenville last Thursday  was found dead.

According to News 10, the Zebra was buried where she passed.  News 10 says the Zebra, named Zula, was 5 months old. She ran away after being startled by a falling branch at Bailiwick Animal Park and Riding Stables in Catskill.

Police and residents all helped search for Zula, and there was a $1000 reward to locate the zebra. News 10 Meteorologist Steve Caparizzo spoke with the owner, Rich Myer, who Steve says is devastated by the loss. Steve says Rich does a lot or rescue work, and saves a lot pets no one else wants.
