A few days ago, police said they were looking for a gang of thieves that were targeting daytime events throughout the Capital Region. Now they have surveillance footage of one of those thieves and need your help to find her. The thieves targeted a few places around the area including a little league field in Bethlehem. They were breaking into vehicles in the daylight stealing purses and wallets that were left in plain sight.

According to CBS 6, The next step for the burglars was to use the victims ID and to write their own checks, dress up similar to the photo on the ID using wigs and sunglasses then go through the drive-thru and cash a check in the victims' names. Police say they attempted to cash the checks in Glenmont, North Greenbush and Clifton Park.

Here is a surveillance picture of a women attempting to cash a check at a drive-thru of a bank in Rensselaer. She is obviously wearing a wig in the photo.

If you have seen the woman or a newer model dark colored Dodge Grand Caravan, you are asked to call Bethlehem Police at 518-439-9973.
