[UPDATE] Reports Of A Murder – Suicide In Schenectady

The names of the people involved with the murder-suicide that happened on Thursday in Schenectady have been released. From a story on YNN, Schenectady Police said they have been identified as 47-year-old Rafeena Rahaman who was the murder victim, and also 38-year-old Ramcumar Bandhoo. The police have responded to the home before, but weren’t giving any details about that.

Schenectady Police responded to a situation about a person with a knife at 6 Mynderse Street earlier this afternoon.

That’s when they found the bodies of a man and a woman inside the home. Authorities believe it’s a murder-suicide. The Times Union is reporting that the police are still trying to notify and locate family members of the victims before they identify them. There are still few details available.
