It appears as if the 37th time was the charm for a local woman. Brittany Myers, the 22-year-old women from Berne, was facing a felony charge after Albany County deputies - during a DWI investigation a month ago - discovered she had her license suspended 37 times and was currently driving with a suspended license. Would she finally land in jail after a mindblowing track record of pure recklessness?

According to the Times Union, Myers was sentenced as a repeat DWI offender to 1 1/3 to 4 years in state prison on Tuesday in Albany County Court, District Attorney David Soares said.

According to the report, she pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated and circumvention of an interlock device, a misdemeanor and was also sentenced to a concurrent term of 1 to 3 years for a violation of probation.

Upon release from prison, her license will be revoked for a year and she will be required to have an ignition interlock device for three years. She was fined $1,000.
