When you ask someone about one thing they wish we had here in the Capital Region, it's either Wegmans or Chick-Fil-A. We're still waiting on a Wegman's announcement but Chick-Fil-A is coming and now we have a better idea of when.

The Times Union is reporting a bunch of new restaurants coming to the Albany International Airport. Yes, the airport. You may have to go through TSA to eat at these places but at least it's a step in the right direction, right?

If you're familiar with restaurants in the airport, The Hudson Valley Wine Bar will be called the Hudson Valley Beer Union and Silks, The Local, Adirondack Lodge and Dunkin Donuts will be remodeled.

Work on the highly anticipated Chick-Fil-A (the first in the Capital Region) was supposed to start yesterday and take the place of the Villa Italian Kitchen which is across from Starbucks right as you pass through TSA. Once they finish that, then work will begin on the new wine bar. Construction was supposed to begin in March but coordination took a little longer than they expected.
