Undercover Sting Shuts Down Bar In Albany
An Albany bar that's located in the area known as the ‘college ghetto’ has been shut down.
In an undercover sting by the New York State Liquor Authority, it was discovered that there were at least 50 drinkers that were underage at Jugs And Mugs on Madison Avenue.
In the story from WNYT, the establishment had 20 violations. There were also too many people in the business. The maximum capacity for occupancy allowed is 50. During the sting, it was estimated to have about 150 people in it. Jugs And Mugs surrendered its liquor license.
