January 10th is the the day that we kick off another incredible season of the 1077 'GNA Rising Stars Acoustic Concert Series at the intimate GE Theater in Proctors Theater in Schenectady.We listen to hundreds of songs and new country acts each year and pick the ones we think are going to be big stars in the future and give you a chance to see, hear and meet them before they get too big for the room. Past 1077 'GNA Rising Stars that nobody knew when we brought them you acoustically in the GE Theater at Proctors include Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Chris Young, Thompson Square, Justin Moore, Joanna Smith, Sarah Buxton and the Eli Young Band to name a few. Our first Rising Star is a talented singer songwriter out of Nashville who is on Colombia Records. Tyler Farr writes songs from the heart and makes them come alive with a whiskey soaked voice that people stand up and listen to. He is in a tight circle and has spent a lot of time on the road and songwriting with the likes of Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann, Randy Houser and others and they are all big fans of Tyler Farr. You will be too when you see him on January 10th at 7:30pm.
