UPDATE - An already horrifying situation has, unbelievably gotten worse. Police in Amsterdam have arrested and charged a 15 year old and 16 year old with second-degree murder, connected to the remains found. 

Around 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 19, 2012, Amsterdam Police received a call about human remains being found.
In a story from CBS 6 News, police are still investigating the situation.

The two sets of human remains were discovered in a field near Snooks Corner Road, in the Town Of Florida, outside of Amsterdam.

There is still no confirmation on how long the remains have been in the area.

 

There are two teens that were reported missing. They are are 13 year old Jonathan DeJesus and 16 year old Paul Damphier. The boys' mothers both reported them missing on July 14, 2012. It is still not known if these are the missing teens.
