There's few things I love more on this planet than food, especially local food, and being from Schenectady, I'm so happy one of my favorites is finally opening it's second storefront location in Electric City.

What started as a delicious food truck at all of your favorite summer events has just grown to two storefronts, one opening soon in Schenectady. No worries, you will still be able to find them in Troy and driving around the Capital Region in their food truck. Slidin' Dirty has just made a bigger name for themselves since their location in Downtown Troy.

Where else can you get delicious sliders and amazing avocado fries? Now, my fellow Schenectadians and I don't have to travel over the Collar City Bridge for our favorites.

Starting today, Slidin' Dirty Schenectady is open for business at 512 State St at 4:00PM this afternoon. According to The Daily Gazette, the 4000 square foot space will have a bar, seating for 110 people, and an outdoor patio. They utilized some of the original structure to preserve the historic nature of the building and soon they will open up other parts of the building to apartments.

I love their sliders and I can't wait to be able to have their delicious food right in my hometown. I love how Downtown Schenectady is growing and adding businesses to become one of the great food hubs of the Capital Region.
