Troopers Make A Traffic Stop And Discover Marijuana

New York State Police pulled a vehicle over for speeding, on the Northway in Guilderland.

During the traffic stop, they learned that the driver, 40-year-old Abraham Rios from The Bronx had allegedly been driving with a suspended driver’s license.

A tow truck was called to take the car away, but just before that happened, the troopers found one more thing. They said that they saw marijuana in the car.

In the story from WNYT, it was more than a pound. That led to the arrest of Rios and a trip to the Albany County Jail.
