Traffic Alert – Road Closures As Filming Begins In Albany

The Capital Region is once again the backdrop of a movie.  With this fame, comes street closures while filming.  Here is what you need to know as filming for the movie Staring James Franco begins in Albany.

According to the Albany Police and News 10, here are the road closures and parking restrictions as filming begins in Albany.

Road Closures — Nov. 7 at 2 P.M. until Nov. 10, at 2 A.M.

1. Pearl Street, east and west sides from Pine Street to Columbia Street

Nov. 7 at 8 A.M. until Nov. 11, 2016 at 4 A.M.

James Street, west side from Steuben Street to Pine Street

Parking Restrictions — Nov. 7 at 2 P.M. until Nov. 11, at 4 A.M.

James Street, west side from Columbia Street to Steuben Street

Steuben Street, north side from James Street to Broadway

Road Closures — Nov. 7 between 6 P.M. and 2 A.M.

1. Pearl Street between Pine Street to Columbia Street as needed when filming. Police Officers will be on site and will direct traffic at the closures between 6 P.M. and 2 A.M.

Nov. 8 & 9 between 12 P.M. and 2 A.M.

1. Pearl Street between Pine Street to Columbia Street as needed when filming. Police Officers will be on site and will direct traffic at the closures between 12 P.M. and 2 A.M.

Nov. 10 between 6:30 P.M. and 4 A.M.

1. Pearl Street between State Street and Pine Street.

Parking Restrictions — Nov. 10 at 11 A.M. until 8 P.M.

Madison Avenue, north and south sides from W. Lawrence Street to Main Avenue

1. Main Avenue, east and west sides from Morris Street to Madison Avenue

Road Closures — Nov. 10 at 4 P.M. until Nov. 11 at 4 A.M.

1. Pearl Street, both the east and west sides State Street to Pine Street

Nov. 10 at 6:30 P.M. until Nov. 11 at 4 A.M.

1. Pearl Street, between State Street and Pine Street

Maiden Lane, between N. Pearl Street and James Street

Parking Restrictions — Nov. 11 at 1 P.M. until Nov. 12 at 6 A.M.

1. Pearl Street, west side from Wilson Street to Clinton Avenue
