It's time to head back in time once again to remember another great country song and video with this week's edition of Flashback Friday. This week we go back over 20 years for Tracy Lawrence's debut hit, "Sticks And Stones".

From the Album of the same name, Tracy would release this song in November of 1991. Just a few months later it would become his first #1 hit in January of 1992. The song moved up the charts quickly due to the fact that Tracy got alot of publicity for being shot in a mugging earlier in 1991.

Tracy would of course go on to have a number of #1 hits in the 90's until his career stalled in the late 90's after dealing with legal problems. He would reach the top 5 with 1999's "Lessons Learned" and a few hits in the 2000's with "Paint Me A Birmingham" and the #1 smash "Find Out Who Your Friends Are".

More recently, last year Tracy released a new album called "The Singer" on his own record label and he is set to co-star in a new family movie called "L.A. Dirt", a film about a young man who wants to become a champion dirt track racer. Tracy's music will also be featured in the film.
