Tractor Trailer Driver Stopped And Charged With DWI

An Ohio tractor trailer driver who was charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday night.

Balraj S. Bassi just left exit 24 of the Thruway, and was pulled over on the Northway by the New York State Police.

From a story in the Times Union, there was a call to police reporting Bassi was received at 10:49 p.m. Saturday. His blood alcohol content was 0.21, almost three times the legal limit.

Bassi was charged with aggravated DWI in Colonie Town Court, and sent to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail. The tractor trailer, which was carrying produce was towed away.

I wonder if this guy realized how many people he put in jeopardy.
