Toys R Us Closes Forever This Week

We've known for some time that Toys R Us would completely shut its doors. But it seemed that every time I was near the iconic toy store, it was still open. Now we have a definite closing date. According to News 10 ABC, Toys R Us will finally close all of their stores across the country this Friday, June 29th. When the toy store announced it would be going out of business forever, it was back in January.

I thought it would be a matter of a few weeks or two months at the most, but it seemed that the Toys R Us stores in the Capital Region were still open. They were offering huge discounts and great deals.

There is still some inventory left and they are offering discounts up to 80 percent. There is a chance that some Toys R Us stores may close sooner because they have less merchandise. But they will all be shut down by Friday.
