When you need to know something, where do you go? Over the past year, a record number of people used Google to find the answers to everything.

Here are the top 5 searched terms on Google in 2011

1. Rebecca Black, 13-year-old YouTube star! Black’s video for ‘Friday,’ earned over 167 million views.

2. Google +. Three weeks after it was launched in June, the social network signed up about 10 million users.

3. Ryan Dunn. Reality TV host who died in a June car crash.

4. Casey Anthony. The young mother acquitted on charges of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

5. Battlefield 3. The Electronic Arts frist-person shooter that sold 5 million copies in it’s first week.
