Top Comic Announces Show At SPAC

When I think of top comedians coming to the area, they're usually playing The Palace, Proctors, Times Union Center or a place like The Funny Bone.  When was the last time a major comic did his or her thing on stage at SPAC?  That will change when comedian Kevin Hart hits the stage for his stand-up show at SPAC later on this year.  Details were announced earlier today.

According to alloveralbany.com, Kevin Hart will appear live on May 25th.  Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, January 31st and they'll start at $45 for lawn and go up in price from there. I've seen Kevin Hart a few times before and he's truly a special talent.  In addition to his stand up talents, he's been in several hit comedy films including Ride Along, Get Hard, Death at a Funeral, and most recently the smash hit Jumanji which had been number one at the box office for the last few weeks before it was finally unseated this past weekend.
