Toby Keith is ready to make his long-awaited return to Nashville. The country star has announced that he will perform his first headlining concert in Music City in more than a decade this summer.

He'll take the stage at Ascend Amphitheater on July 20 as part of the Toby Keith Interstates & Tailgates Tour that kicked off in 2016. The 2017 leg of the tour launched in May in Keith's native Oklahoma and continues throughout the summer, with his appearance in Nashville serving as the first time he's headlined a show in the city since 2004. Tickets for Keith's show at Ascend go on sale Wednesday (June 28) at 10AM via LiveNation.

Keith has new music to promote, including a wild new single titled "Wacky Tobaccy" that features Willie Nelson in the music video. "Wacky Tobaccy is a slogan, a saying that's been around forever and no one has ever written it in a song. The song is written to the screws, and it fits in with what we do every night with the party crowd," Keith says in a press release. He continues on the road through the fall when the tour wraps up on Oct. 29 in Tucson, Ariz.

Keith's latest studio album, 35 MPH Town, was released in 2015, debuting at No. 2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and landing inside the Top 15 on the Billboard 200 chart. The "Beer For My Horses" singer was also named to Forbes' Top 100 Highest-Paid Celebrities list for 2017, coming in at No. 83 alongside superstar duo Florida Georgia Line.
