Toby Keith, Chris Young Plus More in Casey’s Taste of Country

Forbes has Toby Keith at the top of “Country Music’s Highest-Paid Stars” racking in $50 million.  Toby’s “I Love This Bar & Grill” tour averages $500,000 per stop.  Unbelievable, right? The Ford sponsorship also doesn’t hurt. Taylor Swift was second on that list with $45 million, and Brad Paisley at $40 million.

The “Capitol Street Party 4” is happening tonight in Nashville right near Music Row on Demonbreun Street.  Alan Jackson is set to perform along with Eric Church and a newcomer – you probably haven’t heard of this guy – Eric Pasley.  Sounds a lot like Brad Paisley, but spelled completely different, obviously.  It’s a free music even open to the public.

Luke Bryan performed down in New York City the other night.  If you know someone who made it to his concert, he played some pretty non-traiditonal country songs.  Some of his set list actually included, Poison, “Nothin’ but a Good Time” and Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.” Not sure how I feel about the Lady Gaga tune slipping in there.

And Chris Young will be appearing on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson this coming Monday.  He was actually suppose to perform last week, but the U.S. Open was extended and bumped the show.  Chris will perform his new single, “You” making it his fourth national TV appearance.  This guy gets around.

Chris actually had a few comments on his new song:
