WGNA caught up with Tim McGraw this weekend when we headed to Nashville to celebrate the release of his album, "Sundown Heaven Town," on sale Tuesday.

He talked to us about many things, including what it's like to sing with his wife, Faith Hill.

"I may be a little biased, but I think she's one of the best singers of our time," he said.

He also talked about his philosophy on music and said that he tries not to worry about whether his songs will do well on the radio, but prefers to take comfort in knowing himself that he's made a good song.

"If you lead with your heart and lead with your soul in music, then that usually wins," he said.

Check out more of what Tim had to say on being an artist, singing with Faith and on the meaning of one of the songs off the album, "Kids Today," and how it relates to his own parenting style.
