2009- Tim McGraw stops his show at the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, California, to have security kick out a man in the audience who has a woman in a headlock.  On stage Tim says "You don't treat a woman like that. Get outta here!"

2003- Lonestar lands the top spot on the Billboard country singles chart with 'My Front Porch Looking In.'

 1999- Shania Twain's "Come On Over" is certified for shipments of 12 million copies, beating her own "The Woman In Me" as the best-selling country album by a female.  Prior to Shania Twain, Lynn Anderson held the honor as the woman with the best selling album for "Rose Garden" from 1971 to 1997.

1986- Randy Travis scores his first No. 1 single in Billboard with 'On The Other Hand.'
