Tim McGraw‘s ‘Truck Yeah’ made short work of ‘Corn Star’ by Craig Morgan last Friday. The two Showdown songs battled it out online and on Taste of Country Nights radio, with the debut single from McGraw’s upcoming new album taking 70 percent of the vote. Fans of the song will have to step up again today if the song is going to best another one of the party songs of the summer.

Kip Moore‘s ‘Beer Money’ is the second single from his critically acclaimed debut album. Much like ‘Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck,’ the song sets the pace for a wild night out with someone special. Moore is quickly becoming a new face to remember in country music, but he’ll need help from his faithful fans to top the country music superstar.

Listen to clips of both McGraw’s and Moore’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour online, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. Hear the full versions of the songs tonight after 10PM on Taste of Country Nights, and vote again by calling (888) 678-9995. You can listen to the show online through any of the 33 radio stations that carry it. Voting will end tonight at 10:40PM CT.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour. If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
