Those Newfangled Lightbulbs Are Coming Down In Price

Take heart, Capital Region.  They are phasing out the lightbulbs we are very accustomed to and pushing those squiggly ones on us, as you know.  But at least the prices are plunging

According to an article at CNET.com, prices of these bulbs are coming down, especially the LED ones.

I guess you can thank good old GE in Schenectady partially for helping us out financially. The GE 100W bulb cranks out a lot of light, and is only $21 each.  Again, you have to remember that you get the money back and then some in savings..  The bulb even comes with a 10 year warrantee, so save the receipt!
