Thomas Rhett pulled out all the stops to try win his way into the finals in the 2015 ACM Awards New Artist of the Year voting.

The singer-songwriter has been releasing a series of videos asking fans for their support with votes, which will determine which three new country acts go on to the finals. The semi-finalists include Rhett along with Brett Eldredge, Tyler Farr, Sam Hunt, Kip Moore, Chase Rice, Cole Swindell and Dan + Shay.

In the sweet video above, Rhett sends the message that you can never give up on your dreams -- using his own marriage as an example. The clip kicks off by saying, "Very often in life, people see the end result. They don't get to see the hard work that it took to get there."

The video then proceeds with a montage of footage showing Rhett and his wife, Lauren, going all the way back to 2005, when they were 'just friends.' Subsequent shots show Thomas and Lauren in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, with him seemingly trying to impress her in a variety of ways, from music to football -- apparently unsuccessfully.

Or so he might have thought. But the video ends with the couple on their wedding day in 2012 and the message, "It just goes to show you ... you should never give up!"

Voting to determine the finalists ends Feb. 10 at 6PM ET. The final round of fan voting kicks off April 8 and closes on April 19, and the 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards will air live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas that Sunday, April 19, at 8PM ET on CBS, when the winner will be revealed.
